About Enterprise UX

It all started with a simple idea: bringing together people working on complex enterprise systems and give them a place to connect, share and learn from each other.

That idea became Enterprise UX, the yearly Dutch conference for UX practitioners across the Netherlands, and increasingly beyond. A community of people who care deeply about making enterprise systems better.

We believe software can be your best colleague, supporting your work and adapting to how you think. To empower and promote the enterprise UX discipline, we organize this yearly conference for enterprise UX designers and their stakeholders.

Our journey so far

With each edition the community and program grew, but the core idea remains the same: creating a space where enterprise UX practitioners can engage with the complexity of their work in an open and thoughtful way. We visit a different city each year and connect local communities while building a broader network across the field.

The first edition took place in 2023, with nearly 250 UX professionals joining us in Utrecht. Since then, the programme has grown steadily. In 2024, we hosted a two-day format in Amsterdam welcoming 300 UX professionals for a workshop and conference day. In 2025, we expanded into a multi-track conference in Amersfoort with over 350 UX professionals and more than 30 talks in one day!

Values that matter to us

Depth and craft
We focus on the reality of enterprise UX: working within constraints, navigating trade-offs, and going beyond surface-level thinking and trends.
By and for the community
This is a space shaped by the field itself: where people reconnect, share openly, and where it often feels more like a reunion than a conference.
Conscious by default
We keep the conference responsible and intentional: no typical goodies, conscious catering and venue choices, and a focus on reducing unnecessary waste.
Designed for inclusion
We look beyond the usual voices and design for accessibility: moving across cities and using inclusive tools like live translation.

Organised by volunteers

Enterprise UX is a non-profit initiative, run through the AmsterdamUX foundation and powered entirely by volunteers. It exists because people in this field believe it should and are willing to build it together.
