Venue

This year, the conference takes place in the vibrant city of Arnhem, a hotspot for innovation in the east of the Netherlands. Arnhem is easy to reach by train, and from the station it’s a short journey to our venue: Act Eventstudios, located on the Cleantech Park.

Act Eventstudios is located at the Cleantech Park in Arnhem, where sustainability is central, with circular thinking and responsible catering as a natural part of the operation. Back in the day, this building was all about producing rayon fibres. These days, there are no spinning machines in sight, but you might still find yourself untangling a few complex systems before the day is done.

  • Act Eventstudios is located on the outskirts of Arnhem and is easily accessible by car, bicycle and public transportation. Visitors coming by car benefit from its convenient location near the A12, A348 and A325 freeways. Our event location is located in Building KB at Cleantech Park Arnhem, in the heart of the Connectr Innovation Lab.

  • From Arnhem Central Station it is just under 11 minutes by bus. Choose one of the following bus lines:

    • Line 12 & 24 → bus stop "Kleefse Waard"

    • Line 60 → bus stop "IPKW"

    Walking route

From the bus stop, it is just under a 6-minute walk to Act Eventstudios. Walk to the main entrance of the park, and on the left side of the gatehouse, scan the QR code on the entrance ticket. Walk 250 meters straight to the intersection and cross the road. After 50 meters turn right and cross the road again and walk towards the corridor of building KB. After 70 meters turn left, you have arrived at Act Eventstudios.

  • Drive straight for 250 meters turn right at the intersection. On the left hand side you drive past building KB. At the end of the building turn left towards the blue and white strip. Park your bike in one of the designated bike racks.

Then walk from the parking lot back toward building KB. This is where you just passed. Turn right in front of the building, walk along the small forest and turn left into the corridor. After 50 meters turn right and you have arrived at Act Eventstudios.

  • Parking

Act Eventstudios has a large free event parking lot just a 2-minute walk from our venue. We have space for over 300 cars here.

    • P2: From the main entrance, drive straight ahead for 250 meters and turn right at the intersection. You’ll pass the KB building on your left; you’ll be able to enter there shortly. Then drive straight ahead for 170 meters and enter P2 through the gates.

    • P2 Extra: If P2 is full, turn right at the gates and drive straight ahead for 100 meters to park your car in P2 Extra.

  • Cleantech Park has 116 public charging stations, including a large charging plaza and additional charging stations located throughout the park. There are several fast-charging stations, including a public fast charger outside the gate that is available for anyone to use. All charging stations are compatible with standard charging cards. Charging facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Act Eventstudios is located on a secure park, to gain access you need a unique QR code. You will receive this in the form of an entrance ticket from the organizer before the start of the event.

So how exactly does this work?

    • Entrance gate & barriers: at the main entrance to the park is the gatehouse with barriers and entrance gates on either side. You open these by scanning the QR code.

    Scan on arrival & departure:

    • Hold your QR code 5 inches from the scanner on the pole

    • The barrier or gate then opens

    • Also, scan the QR code again when leaving the park
