Designing legislation: How policy can benefit from the design thinking process

Policy and legislation are a way for a government to create societal change. So it might come as no surprise that there are a lot of parallels with designing. Chris will present a unique case in which he helped the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport with shaping a legislation to prevent transgressive behaviour in sport. A project in which the design process was used to help the Ministry get a better grip on the organisation they wanted to create in the future. And it turns out: policy and legislation have an awful lot in common with a design brief…
