Designing Your UX Design Organization
How is your UX organization set up? Which trade-offs did you — or your management — make along the way? You may design user experiences every day, but have you also consciously designed the UX organization that makes those experiences possible? In this interactive session, we will explore key choices in shaping enterprise UX organizations.
Together, we will discuss the pros and cons of different organizational models and compare perspectives from the room. You will also get a sneak peek into how UX is organized at ASML, a global semiconductor equipment manufacturer headquartered in the Netherlands.
About Bart-Jan
Bart-Jan leads the User Experience Center of Excellence at ASML IT & Data, where he focuses on building and scaling human-centered research and design capabilities in a complex enterprise environment. Before joining ASML in 2016, he founded a UX design company, worked as a design and innovation consultant for SAP customers across EMEA, and conducted research at NASA in Silicon Valley. He holds a BSc in Industrial Design, an MSc in Information Science, and a PhD in Business Informatics.
