Prototyping the Future: A Blueprint for Adaptive Product Development
You cannot predict the future of product development, but you can prototype it: run small pilots, see what works, learn and adjust. That is what we did at Fabrique (Eidra) over the past eighteen months.
AI is the trigger; the talk is about what it sets in motion. Roles, skills, release rhythms and collaboration shift, work is never finished, and the line between design and build fades. That clashes with how most enterprises run: fixed roles, sprint cadence, siloed teams and governance built for predictability. So this talk is about where you do have influence.
Takeaways:
A conceptual blueprint of adaptive product development: teams, roles and processes in the near future
Why familiar methods break on work that is never done, and what we explore instead
What shifts for enterprise designers: from receiving the brief to writing it
Learnings from our own practice, not theory
Three reflection questions, for individual, team and chapter, to start on Monday
