Turning Employee Experience Strategy into Action

Enterprise organisations often prioritise business strategy and technical efficiency while overlooking the user experience that should drive it. In this session, we share a real-world story from a large-scale transformation programme where we reframed a high-level strategic concept into a user centric vision.

Through research with clients and employees, we uncovered systemic friction including fragmented tools, complex workflows, and high cognitive load that prevented consistent delivery of great experiences. We translated these insights into a clear user experience vision supported by user mindsets, design principles and enablers. More importantly, we demonstrate how we moved beyond strategy and made the vision tangible, supporting decision-making, building advocacy for our users, and creating a foundation for implementation.

Key takeaways:

  • How to build an experience vision that drives business outcomes

  • How to align stakeholders around a shared future state

  • Techniques for making strategy tangible and actionable

  • Lessons learned from shaping a vision across a complex ecosystem
